Qin Kai (), was a general of the Kingdom of Yan during the Warring States period of China. He was at one time sent by Yan to
Donghu people as a
hostage. After returning to Yan, around 300 BC, he defeated the Donghu and
Gojoseon-Yan War Liaodong Peninsula, wresting it from Gojoseon.. in
Jianchang County, he found a relic of Yan (state) period.
Qin Kai was the grandfather of Qin Wuyang.[: 其後燕有賢將秦開，為質於胡，胡甚信之。歸而襲，破走東胡，東胡卻千餘里。與荊軻刺秦王秦舞陽者，開之孫也。]
